Gather Grove is a small, independent guide to harvest festivals and U-pick farms across the United States. We try to treat your data the way we'd want ours treated: collect as little as possible, be clear about it, and never sell it. Here's the whole story in plain language.
Analytics
We use privacy-friendly, cookielessanalytics (Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights) to understand which pages people find useful and to keep the site fast. These don't use tracking cookies, don't follow you across other sites, and don't collect personally identifying information — we only ever see anonymous, aggregate counts.
When you tap a listing's Official website, Tickets, or Get directionslink, we record an anonymous event noting which listing and link type was used. This is how we measure whether Gather Grove is actually sending visitors to festivals and farms — it's never tied to your identity.
We also record anonymous events when you use the search box or apply filters (crop type, region, month). This tells us what people are looking for — for example, whether strawberry festivals are more popular than garlic festivals — so we can prioritize what to add next. Search terms and filter choices are sent to Vercel as aggregated, anonymous event data. No account, cookie, or identifier is attached.
Information you send us
If you submit a festival or farm, or sign up for our monthly email, we receive what you type — for a submission that might be a festival name, location, and any notes; for the newsletter, your email address. We use it only for that purpose: reviewing the submission, or sending the digest. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising.
These messages reach us through our email providers (Resend, and ImprovMX for forwarding), who process them on our behalf so we can read and reply.
Maps
Listing maps load tiles from an open map provider, and Get directionshands off to Apple Maps or Google Maps. Once you're in those apps, their own privacy policies apply.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information. Ever.
- We don't run advertising trackers or third-party ad cookies.
- We don't build profiles of individual visitors.
