Villa del Sol is a 25-acre working cherry farm in Leona Valley started by the Shafer family in 1999, billed as Leona Valley's and Southern California's largest pick-your-own cherry orchard with more than 3,600 trees. Visitors pick Bing and Rainier cherries (typically late May through early July) with no admission or parking fee. Cherries are sold by the pound, and the farm recommends calling ahead since availability depends on the season and weather.
