UC's Lindcove Research and Extension Center hosts its annual Citrus Fruit Display & Tasting public day, where visitors can sample more than 200 varieties of citrus grown at the center. Held each December (9am-1pm), the free event also offers bags of lemons and oranges for purchase. The public tasting day typically falls on the first Saturday of December following an industry/research day.
