Evans Fruit Company is a family-run orchard at 700 State Rd in Mosier's Columbia River Gorge valley, farming there since 2000. Its u-pick blocks offer 10 sweet and 2 sour cherry varieties — including Bing, Rainier, Lapin, and Montmorency pie cherries — that ripen in sequence from about June 12, followed by two varieties of tree-ripened peaches in July. Buckets are provided and your harvest is weighed at the stand; the u-pick blocks are managed with OMRI-certified products. Open daily 9am-7pm during the season, which typically wraps up around the start of August.
