Hoffman Hills Lavender Farm grows around 1,700 lavender plants on Mill Creek Road, about ten minutes outside The Dalles in the Columbia River Gorge. The farm opens for u-pick lavender from June 1 to August 15, with bloom starting in mid-June and the most vivid color in July; visitors cut their own bouquets and can browse a farm shop with handcrafted lavender soaps, oils, and bath products. The property also hosts weddings and events and has a guest cottage on the premises.
