Bare Hill Farm, a seasonal u-pick farm west of Roseburg in the Umpqua Valley, hosts its pumpkin festival across October weekends. There's no entrance fee, and hay rides are free with a pumpkin purchase. Expect dozens of pumpkin, squash, and gourd varieties sold by the pound, a kids corn maze, an air-powered pumpkin cannon, fresh-pressed cider slushies and espresso, plus a charity fall fair with a pumpkin Ferris wheel and games. The farm also offers u-pick strawberries and cut flowers earlier in the season.
