French Prairie Gardens in St. Paul turns its working family farm into a month-long fall festival each October. Pick from a 12-acre pumpkin patch with roughly 20 varieties, cheer on the Pigtucky Derby pig races, and work through the corn maze, hay slides, and more than 15 farm activities. The on-site scratch bakery and taproom round out the visit, and the farm also hosts a late-summer sunflower festival with cut-your-own blooms.
