Established in 1984, the Old Apple Tree Festival takes place each fall at Old Apple Tree Park near Fort Vancouver. The free, family-friendly event features live music, cider pressing demonstrations, apple tastings and sales, children's activities, and guided walking tours of Fort Vancouver Village, the historic orchard, and the Columbia River Land Bridge. Urban Forestry Commissioners give away cuttings from the original rootstock while supplies last.
