Global Rice Fest is an annual event hosted by Yolo Food Bank that honors rice, the region's signature crop and the most-requested staple at local food distributions, through dishes from around the world prepared by regional chefs alongside cultural performances. Set at the Conaway Ranch barn near Woodland, the festival partners with Sacramento Valley rice growers and raises funds to nourish Yolo County. First launched with a 2023 Founders Night, it has grown into a destination October gathering drawing hundreds of guests.
