The Lima Bean Fest at Oxnard Historic Farm Park honors Ventura County's deep agricultural roots in lima bean farming, which once made Oxnard the Lima Bean Capital of the World. Visitors enjoy lima bean dishes from local restaurants, a tasting contest, crafts vendors, vintage farm equipment displays, and live music. Launched as the First Annual Lima Bean Fest in September 2024 and continuing with a second annual event on September 13, 2025, it is held each year on the second Saturday of September.
