The Santa Cruz Fungus Fair, organized by the Fungus Federation of Santa Cruz, is one of the oldest mushroom fairs in North America, celebrating its 52nd year in 2026. Held at the London Nelson Community Center, it features hundreds of fresh wild mushroom specimens, expert identification, cultivation demos, mushroom arts and crafts, and gourmet fungi cuisine. The 2026 edition ran Friday January 9 through Sunday January 11.
