Hilda's is a long-running u-pick farm on Country Club Road in the Hood River Valley, with century-old buildings and orchard views. The season starts with cherries in mid-to-late June, followed by blueberries, heirloom tomatoes (about 35 varieties), peaches in late July or early August, and apples and pears in August, plus u-pick dahlias and garden roses. The farm has grown with organic methods for over 25 years, using natural fertilizers and no herbicides; formal organic certification is in process.
