Morning Shade Farm, about seven miles south of Canby in the Willamette Valley, opens for u-pick in mid-June with blueberries available all season alongside black and red currants, raspberries, Columbia Star marionberries, loganberries, and Sylvan and Katata blackberries. Pre-picked orchard fruit rotates in as it ripens, including apples, Asian and European pears, plums, cherries, figs, elderberries, and hardy kiwi berries that run into late November. The farm also runs a nursery and posts a weekly ripe-and-ready list online.
