Nanneman Farms has farmed outside Salem since 1959, when Charles and Bernard Nanneman bought the land and started with strawberries, bush beans, and wheat. Today the family runs a seasonal fruit stand at 5682 Silverton Rd NE stocked with strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries grown on the farm, plus produce from neighboring growers. The stand opens around May 20 each year and runs through late summer; the 2026 season opened May 20. This is a farm stand rather than a u-pick — berries come picked and ready. Accepts cash, cards, and EBT/Oregon Trail.
