Packer Orchards' Farm Place, at 3020 Thomsen Rd on the former Rasmussen Farms site, is a Hood River Fruit Loop member farm with u-pick across the seasons: a ticketed Tulip Festival with u-cut blooms in spring (March 27 - April 30 in 2026), strawberry u-pick in June, cherries and peaches through summer, sunflower picking in August, and a u-pick pumpkin patch with corn maze in fall. The sales barn and bakery are stocked year-round with pies, cookies, and jams made from fruit grown on the 100+ acre farm, with apples available August-March and pears September-May. Open Thursday-Monday, 10am-5pm.
