Plumper Pumpkin Patch & Tree Farm, run by the Kessinger family for over 25 years on 65 acres along Old Cornelius Pass Road, opens to the public each fall (Sept 19–Nov 1) with u-pick pumpkins from the field or bins, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin cannons, slides, a petting zoo, pony rides, and a farm store with pumpkin donuts. Admission is ticketed ($16 online, $18 walk-up, $31 season pass), with pumpkins and produce priced separately. The farm reopens the Friday after Thanksgiving for its Christmas tree season, with cut-your-own and pre-cut trees, through the Sunday before Christmas. Outside these seasons it hosts field trips and private events by booking only.
