Rusted Gate Farm is a nonprofit demonstration farm in the Rogue River Valley dedicated to supporting small farms through trials and innovation. From mid-July through mid-October (weather permitting), visitors can cut up to two free bouquets in the u-pick flower garden — sunflowers ring the perimeter, with blooms in every color inside, and the farm provides snippers, kid-friendly scissors, and a wrapping station with brown paper and twine. The farm stand sells no-spray produce, grass- and grain-finished beef, jams, sourdough bread, honey, and other local goods, and accepts SNAP and Farm Direct coupons.
