Operating on Sauvie Island since 1967, The Pumpkin Patch is a classic Portland-area farm destination. Summer brings u-pick strawberries, blueberries, marionberries, raspberries, peaches, and flowers, along with a farm market stocked with island-grown produce. In fall the farm runs The MAiZE — Portland's original corn maze, now past its 27th season — with daily October hayrides out to roughly a million pounds of u-pick pumpkins. The Big Red Animal Barn, Pumpkin Cottage gift shop, and Patio Cafe round out a visit.
