Organized by the nonprofit A Greater Applegate, the Jacksaphine Count(r)y Fair fills the Applegate Valley with a week of harvest-season happenings each September. Past editions have included a harvest festival at the Upper Applegate Grange, a harvest fair at Pacifica Gardens, a farmers-market pepper roast featuring local farm produce, winery and vineyard gatherings, live music, a pie contest, and local art — all celebrating the flavors and farms of this Jackson-Josephine county wine and farm country.
