One of the longest-running community events in the Yakima Valley, the Wapato Annual Harvest Festival & Parade takes place every Labor Day weekend at Lions Park. The multi-day celebration features a downtown parade, carnival rides, live music stages, food vendors serving tamales, barbecue, and local favorites, plus family entertainment and activities. The festival serves as the valley's largest community fundraiser supporting local youth programs and scholarships. Admission to most outdoor areas is free, with paid carnival attractions.
