Kiger Island Blues grows 10,000 Northern Highbush blueberry plants across six acres on Kiger Island, just south of Corvallis, with varieties like Duke, Bluecrop, Legacy, and Elliott chosen to ripen in waves from late June into September. The u-pick field and farmstand typically run mid-June through mid-September, and the farm also offers strawberries, apples, Asian and Anjou pears, plus fresh-pressed apple cider in fall. A conventional grower using minimal-spray practices, the farm also sells at the Corvallis and Albany farmers' markets.
