Smiley's Red Barn is one of Hood River Valley's original fruit stands, run by a family that has grown fruit in the valley for over five generations. Located at Hwy 35 and Ehrck Hill Drive on the Hood River Fruit Loop, the stand sells the farm's own cherries, pears, apples, and peaches, along with jams, preserves, and ice cream, daily 10am-6pm from June through October 31. Co-located Fox-Tail Cider & Distillery makes hard ciders and spirits from the farm's fruit, with a family-friendly tasting room and dog-friendly patio open daily. There is no u-pick; this is a farm-stand stop.
